Qnap Qfiling v1.0 App for Automate File Organization on NAS

Qnap Systems, Inc. released the official version of Qfiling v1.0 an app that helps automate file organization and increase productivity.

Users can benefit from instantly organizing a huge amount of files needed for everyday usage while saving time and enjoying greater convenience.

Qfiling is easy to use and needs five steps to organize a huge number of files spread through multiple folders. Users can categorize files and determine filing conditions; and schedule filing tasks to be carried out periodically. The ‘Recipe’ function allows users to save frequently-used filing conditions as an ‘exclusive recipe’, then the next Qfiling task can be run with one click using the recipe.

“Qfiling incorporates our Qsirch full-text search engine technology to empower its instant categorization and filing,” said Nina Ni, product manager, Qnap, adding “With Qfiling, using a Qnap NAS as centralized file storage can maximize file organizational efficiency and improve everyday file management and usage.”

Qfiling v1.0 is available from the QTS App Center.

System requirements:

• Qsirch must be installed before using Qfiling.

• Supports all company’s NAS models with at least 2GB RAM and QTS 4.3.0 (or later), except TAS series. 4GB or more RAM is recommended for optimum performance.
