85% Y/Y Revenue Growth for Scality in 2016

Business booked through alliance partners soared to 76% as the company’s new ATLAS Partner Program was launched, which now supports 25 global alliance and channel partners including Cisco, Dell, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
“Our alliance partnership with Scality has been incredibly collaborative and enables us to jointly transform customers’ digital businesses with solutions they can trust,” said Bill Philbin, SVP and GM of storage and big data solutions, HPE. “Scality’s software-defined object storage alongside our density-optimised Apollo platforms and delivery expertise combine to help customers solve their emerging big data and active archive challenges.”
The firm extended its install base with more than 40 new enterprise customers, bringing the total number of million-dollar accounts to 25 and total referenceable customers to 135. New customers came from across the United States, Western Europe, and Japan in the banking and finance, media and entertainment, manufacturing, and industrial design markets, with the firm capturing four of the world’s fifteen largest banks.

Pivotal product launches resulted in more than 240PB of capacity shipped last year.
The introduction of S3 Server for RING drove revenue growth seen through the year in the enterprise cloud space.
Furthering its ability to inspire the S3 community, Scality joined the AWS Partner Network and put S3 on-premises, releasing the Open Source S3 Server to the AWS Marketplace which has garnered 142,000 downloads to date.
RING serves over 500 million end-users worldwide with over 800 billion objects in production.
