Gary Ignatin SVP of Corporate Development, Marvell

His primary responsibilities will be corporate development, long-term strategy, and leading strategic growth initiatives – all areas in which he has experience.
“The competitive landscape of the semiconductor industry is changing,” said Matt Murphy, president and CEO. “Gary is a proven leader, and having someone of his caliber to assess new opportunities and drive long-term strategy will be invaluable.”
Most recently, Ignatin spent 16 years at Broadcom Corporation. As VP of corporate development, he led all M&A activities and was involved in over 30 transactions. He also served in a number of legal roles including VP and deputy general counsel. Previously he held positions at Sony Pictures Entertainment and Latham & Watkins.
He earned a B.S.E. in Computer Science from Princeton University, and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
