Channel Partners Doubled With Revenue Growth of 122% for Cirrus Data Solutions
That expanded in Europe and Asia for SAN data migration
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on February 27, 2017 at 2:37 pmCirrus Data Solutions, Inc. (CDS), in SAN data migration, data acceleration, and data protection technology, announced historic 2016 achievements in the enterprise data migration market.
It strengthened its leadership with channel revenue growth of more than 122% for the year ended December 31, 2016.
Furthermore, the company launched a new channel partner program designed to drive significant revenue growth, expanded its presence in Europe and Asia, and unveiled 4.0 version of its Data Migration Server (DMS).
“Cirrus Data’s success in 2016 reflects the value we provide to customers – fast, secure, and non-disruptive data migration,” said Wayne Lam, CEO. “For many businesses, data is their most valuable asset. CDS ensures this critical asset is protected from cybercriminals and simple human error during storage migrations. Today, CDS is continuing to support its global partners and customers-with technology, innovation, strategic partnerships, and scalable operational support which we believe will fuel our growth in 2017.“
CDS is at the forefront of the market’s widespread transformation to the modern data center, disrupting the way businesses have typically approached their data’s storage growth. It utilizes its patented Transparent Datapath Intercept (TDI) and an Adaptive Automatic QoS technology that enables businesses to take advantage of the latest data center technology with limited downtime, agility, and minimal risk. Its data migration solution supports diverse storage environments and migration requirements including co-located arrays, remote storage expansion, cloud storage platforms, and flash storage environments.
In 2016, CDS made significant investments in developing and launching its channel partner program by bolstering the field sales and marketing teams with new seasoned executives, more than doubling the number of certified channel partners, and by implementing a new channel partner program designed to drive revenue growth. Through these investments, the company has grown its revenue and customer base, and is now poised for further expansion across all geographies.
To further capitalize on the migration market opportunity, Cirrus Data launched a new channel partner tier, ‘Qualified Services Partner,’ at the beginning of 2017. The new Qualified Services Partner tier is focused solely on channel partners who will deliver non-competing data migration services for CDS partners who need migration services capabilities for their clients. This tier is by invitation only and includes Headwaters Group, Norwin Technologies, and HelioStor in the UK.
