John Hayes Entrepreneur In Residence, Sutter Hill Ventures

Surprise or not, we don’t know yet but we just found out that John Hayes, chief architect and one of the co-founders with John Colgrove of Pure Storage in the summer 2009, has left the company as an executive to join Sutter Hill Ventures since beginning of February 2017. But he remains advisor of Pure Storage.

In fact, John Hayes has updated his LinkedIn profile to reflect this change but Pure Storage continues to list him on its leadership page on its web site (see image below).

Interesting, Sutter Hill is a VC that has invested in all rounds – A (lead for this round), B, C, D, E and F – of Pure Storage.
