Vault Software for AWS From IDrive Online Backup

IDrive, Inc.‘ Online Backup has expanded IDrive Vault capable of being deployed in AWS, leveraging Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) and Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2).

IDrive Vault (Private Cloud) acts as a safehouse for user data, now bringing the benefits of AWS to go along with the simplicity of the company’s software. This gives users a dedicated infrastructure for access to their data within their geographic region, combined with the peace of mind that their data is protected in the AWS cloud.

This is especially useful for businesses located outside of the U.S. who may be required by law to store their data in the same region they conduct usiness in. Now users have ultimate control over the exact location in which their data is stored, keeping it close by for faster backups and restores.
