Post-production Studio Colorkitchen in Moscow Opts for Raidix

Raidix, LLC announces cooperation with Colorkitchen, a post-production studio based out of Moscow, Russia and specialized in high-end color grading for feature films (Soulless 2, lcebreaker, Viking, Attraction), commercials and musical video for international clients.

For handling parallel video streams and processing of video content from multiple workstations, the color grading studio Colorkitchen required a reliable storage system. Mindful of large data volumes, Colorkitchen focused on performance with sequential workloads, support for HD/2K/4K video formats, ability to set performance priorities on the application level, and QoS.

The Raidix-powered storage system met the customer’s performance and fault-tolerance requirements, and allowed for simultaneous content processing from several workstations – without latency or performance degradation. Raidix shipped a high-capacity SAN expandable with a JBOD enclosure, connected over 16Gb FC, supporting performance and multiple 2K/4K video streams.
