Retrospect Supporting Google Cloud Storage Coldline

This addition deepens Retrospect’s integration with Google Cloud Platform and allows customers to leverage Retrospect’s hybrid data protection solution to store business data off-site in a cost-effective long-term storage location.
Google Cloud Storage Coldline is a storage class for data that is accessed less than once a year. It is priced at $0.007/GB/month with an access fee of $0.05/GB retrieved. With the company’s solution, customers are able to backup to Google Cloud Storage Coldline with no compromise on latency or availability.

Google Cloud Storage Coldline support is included in Retrospect 11.5 for Windows and Retrospect 13.5 for Mac.
