- Automate test and development infrastructure provisioning, reducing management time.
- Drive new, high-value use cases, such as leveraging hybrid cloud compute.
- Catalog and track IT objects, including volumes, snapshots, VMs, data stores, and files.
- Deliver insights into copy data environments across the enterprise, including protection recovery point objective and RTO compliance reporting.
- Integrate with Oracle, MS SQL server, and other databases to make database copying and cloning simple, fast, and efficient.
- Deliver additional value through support for data masking, log management, and Oracle RMAN.
- Support multivendor selection of storage arrays, including systems from IBM, NetApp, and EMC.
- Scan and track snapshots in VMWare environments taken with IBM Spectrum Protect Snapshot.
Supported applications and databases include:
- Oracle 11gR2 and Oracle 12c on a physical or VM running one of the following OSs:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)/CentOS 6.5+, RHEL/CentOS 7.0, or later
- Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) 6.0+, 7.0+
- SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 11.0+, 12.0+
- SQL server 2008, and later, on VMs running on Windows Server 2008, and later
Supported storage platforms:
- IBM storage systems running IBM Spectrum Virtualize Software V7.3, and later, including IBM SAN Volume Controller, IBM Storwize, and IBM FlashSystem V9000
- Storage systems running IBM Spectrum Accelerate 11.5.3, and later, including IBM FlashSystem A9000, A9000R, and IBM XIV
- Non-IBM storage systems (NetApp and EMC VNX)
