Toshiba SAS SSDs for Netapp FAS And E-Series

Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc. (TAEC) announces its PX04S 12Gb SAS SSDs, which are FIPS 140-2 Level 2 certified, are shipping in NetApp, Inc.‘s hybrid FAS and E-Series systems.

Toshiba is a SSD supplier for NetApp FIPS certified products.

With sequential R/W speeds of up to 1,900MB/s /1,100 MB/s, and random R/W performance of up to 270,000 / 270,000 4KB IO/s, the FIPS certified SSDs provide data security for customers requiring certified protection of their valuable data.
