Panzura, Inc., a provider of hybrid cloud storage for the enterprise, announced that professional services firm Moffatt & Nichol, Inc. has enabled cross site collaboration and reduced its cost structure by implementing its Hybrid Cloud Storage.

The selection of Panzura enables the firm’s 650 employees in 35 offices and 7 countries to further the firm’s heritage of collaborating on projects across distributed teams by eliminating hours of delay in access files in other offices or reconciling different versions of files.

Moffatt & Nichol implemented Panzura controllers as the front end to AWS S3 object storage. The combination of Panzura controllers and AWS object storage provided the performance and features of enterprise storage with the economics, capacity and dynamic business model of cloud storage. I it also provided the cross-site collaboration needed for Moffatt & Nichol users to work together from distributed offices as if everyone was in a single room.

To serve its portfolio of businesses and rapid growth, the company relies on more than 200 technology applications, including Autodesk products, Bentley products and various engineering applications.
