Managed Security Services, Managed Azure Cloud and AWS Security and Cost Management are available to public sector organisations as part of the range of IaaS and specialist cloud services offered by the company via the Digital Marketplace. The range of managed cloud services also covers storage and DR as a Service.

Highlights of range of services available
on G-Cloud 8 from iomart include
:

  • Managed Azure Cloud – We can directly manage your complete Microsoft experience for a range of services, including Office 365 and the Azure Cloud suite of solutions, either as a stand-alone or a bespoke solution.

  • AWS Security and Cost Management – This allows public sector organisations to buy AWS through iomart without the need for a credit card and with invoicing in UK currency.
Controlling the services and costs for the hyper scale clouds of Microsoft Azure and AWS can be complex so in conjunction with iomart’s public cloud consultancy SystemsUp Ltd we can now offer simplified management across all your cloud services. SystemsUp specialises in using public cloud services to deliver business benefits to central and local government organisations.

Cost optimisation and overspend alerts ensures organisations get value for money from multiple cloud providers. The company has also updated its storage and DR offerings on G-Cloud 8.

  • Storage as a Service – The firm delivers unlimited storage capacity automatically without the requirement to invest in hardware and software, greatly reducing an organisation’s capital expenditure. Storage as a service is available from iomart in five key vendor solutions: EMC Atmos, Ctera Networks, Ltd., Panzura, Inc., OpenStack and File Sync and Share.

  • DR as a Service – Company’s DRaaS is available in a range of scalable managed service solutions that provide offsite protection for both physical and virtual environments. The solution is built on components from EMC Corp., Zerto Ltd., Vmware, Inc. and Cisco Technology, Inc., and is backed by the company’s 24×7 support and SLAs.
