Verbatim: Small USB Keys to Store, Share and Stream Data

€26 for MediaShare Wireless Mini, €58 (64GB) for iStore 'n' Go Lightning, €45 (64GB) for Store 'n' Go Dual

Verbatim, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Kagaku Media owned by Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, has broadened its portfolio of storage products with a trio of pocket-friendly gadgets that enable data to be stored, shared and streamed by establishing convenient high-speed connections between devices such as iOS or Android tablets, smartphones and notebooks.

One of the most common criticisms of Apple and Android smartphone and tablets is the relatively low internal storage capacity that the base models offer. Freeing up space can be challenging, particularly when you are travelling or away from an internet connection. The introduction of Verbatim’s latest range of compact storage devices offers business and home users a more convenient and affordable way of expanding capacity without the expense of investing in a higher spec smartphone or tablet,” explains Chris Chalder, manager, EUMEA business development, Verbatim.

The MediaShare Wireless Mini is a miniature version of the lightweight Wi-Fi streaming device that was launched in 2014. When a micro SD memory card is inserted into the product, it becomes a wireless USB drive that allows backup and transfer. The built-in Wi-Fi transmitter enables users to access the contents of the micro SD card and share or stream data (photos, music and video) with up to fiive devices (such as iOS or Android tablets/smartphones) simultaneously. When fully charged via a conveniently built-in USB connector, the gadget delivers up to three hours of continuous use and it can also be charged while in use.
