110% More Revenue for Nakivo in 2Q16 vs. 2Q15

NAKIVO Inc., a virtualization and cloud backup software company for VMware and Amazon AWS environments, announced Q2 2016 results.

Named Top 20 Coolest Cloud Computing Vendors of 2016 by CRN, NAKIVO is delivering a new way for cloud providers, enterprises, and SMBs to backup and replicate their VMware and AWS environments onsite, offsite, and to private/public clouds more reliably, efficiently, and cost effectively.

Revenue Bookings
The company accelerates its growth rate in the VMware and Amazon EC2 backup market with 110% revenue bookings growth in Q2 2016 vs. Q2 2015. Most of the Q2 revenue (49%) came from the EMEA region, 38% came from the Americas, and 13% came from AsiaPac.

Customers
As of Q2 2016, over 14,800 companies were using NAKIVO Backup & Replication to protect and recover their data more efficiently and cost effectively. In Q2 2016, the firm gained 97% more customers than in Q2 2015. Most of the new customers came from the EMEA region (58%), while 8% came from AsiaPac, and another 33% came from the Americas. The top three revenue producing countries were the United States, Germany and Italy. With new customer orders in Q2, the company expanded into Algeria, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, and St. Lucia for the first time.

Solution Partners
In Q2 2016, 135 new solution providers joined the NAKIVO Partner Program and now offer NAKIVO products to their enterprise and SMB customers. Solution providers from Bahrain, New Caledonia, and Dominican Republic joined NAKIVO for the first time. The firm now has over 1,200 software solution providers across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Middle-East, and AsiaPac.

Cloud Providers
NAKIVO’s Cloud Provider Program enables managed services, cloud, and hosting providers to introduce Backup-as-a-Service, Replication-as-a-Service, and DR-as-a-Service to their clients. In Q2 2016, NAKIVO has increased the number of qualified cloud providers to 126.
