Proact Updates Datacentre for Unknown Baltic Bank

An unrevealed bank in the Baltic’s has chosen Proact IT Group AB as their partner to update their mission critical datacentre environment with a new unified storage solution based on Hitachi Data Systems products and Proact services.

“The bank needed a state-of-the-art central storage platform with high performance and improved functionality, a solution which matches the new requirements of virtualised infrastructure, provides advanced data services and supports long term growth. Our proof of concept was clearly a success and the customer was very impressed with our technical expertise and ability to understand their needs,” explains Karel Kannel, MD, Proact in Estonia.

According to Kannel, the cooperation between HDS’ presales team and Proact’s engineers was very helpful in providing the customer with a well-designed solution.

Proact was chosen as the solution provider based on competency, technology and quality services and extensive experience from working with the banking sector.

The solution was installed in co-operation with HDS, and included HDS high end storage arrays, object and file storage, installation, implementation and Proact Premium Support.
