The company, known throughout the industry as a long time developers of Mac utility software, has reinvented theirbackup utility for every Mac user’s home.

“This release is only the beginning of what is really a new way of backing up your data. In this version, we have added forward thinking designs that will enhance our user’s experience, both now and even more so in the future,” says Greg Brewer, CEO. “We have put a lot of development effort into transitioning our backup Pro software so that it will be easily prepared for a future that will rely heavily on cloud computing.“

Backup does intelligent backups, only copying those files that have been changed. backup uses the advanced features of Mac OS X to track which files have been updated without scanning for them, meaning backups start and finish faster.

The firm has been the face of some of the well-known Mac utility software. The products they have created include software such as Data Rescue, Drive Genius, and Media Tools.
