Asustor Reveals AS6208T and AS6210T Tower NAS

Asustor Inc. announces high capacity tower NAS model with compatibility for Seagate Technology plc ‘ 8TB Surveillance HDDs at Secutech Taipei, collaborating with Seagate to exhibit a cost-effective surveillance solution.

The company has launched two tower NAS models in the AS6208T and AS6210T.

This series of NAS devices comes equipped with the newest generation of Intel quad-core processors providing stable and reliable system performance. They also feature a hot-swappable HDD design and have passed compatibility tests for Seagate’s newly launched high capacity 8TB disks, designed specifically for surveillance use. With these high-capacity disks, users are able to create high capacity recording storage spaces of up to 64TB and 80TB, respectively. Combined with company’s professional surveillance application, users will be able to create a small to medium sized surveillance system consisting of one to 25 cameras, helping them to increase security in their workplace and solve any surveillance issues.

Surveillance Center:
Surveillance Center is a free App developed in-house by the firm that can be installed on all company’s NAS devices. It supports local display output and is the only surveillance app in the industry that supports the viewing of surveillance feeds via HDMI output, Web browsers and mobile devices along with being compatible for operation on Windows Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and IE Web browsers. Surveillance Center features an intuitive interface and a five-step quick installation wizard that allows users to complete camera configuration in 60s along with recording scheduling. Currently, Surveillance Center has been updated to version 2.4 with the company also regularly releasing Beta versions to allow users to experience the newest functions. Users can download Beta versions from the Beta section in App Central or from the Surveillance Center Beta program web page.
