Thomas Kropeit MD for Germany, Datadobi

Headquartered in Belgium, Datadobi, in NAS-to-NAS migration software and services, has established a direct presence in Germany.

The team in Germany will be built and led by Thomas Kropeit. He is an industry veteran who spent over 16 years with EMC in various sales and marketing roles. Over the last two and a half years, he was with a large German system integrator, FRITZ & MACZIOL group, driving their €90 million+ EMC hardware, software and services business.

“Our close partnership with EMC has already generated a solid revenue stream and many successful migration projects in Germany over the last couple of years,” stated Ian Leysen, CEO and co-founder, Datadobi. “We now have a dedicated presence in Germany, and we are going to get much closer to our customers and develop new partnerships in Germany to bring expertise and skills locally to support all NAS migration needs.”
