RAIDdeluxe 24-Bay System by Starline Computer

Starline Computer GmbH introduces the RAIDdeluxe 24 bay system for 3.5 LFF HDDs in a 4 U RM.

The C-series has been expanded by a new model.

With 24 x 3.5 LFF HDDs in a 4U rackmount enclosure, it offers a host connection up to 4x16Gb FC, 2x12Gb SAS x4 or 2x10Gb iSCSI per controller.

The RAIDdeluxe C-Series model is based on a 12 Gb SAS backplane and uses the reliable RAID controllers from Areca Technology Corporation. With continuous 12Gb architecture, these RAID systems offer host performance and increased system efficiency with fast 12Gb SAS SSDs and HDDs.

The RAIDdeluxe system with 4U offers 24×3.5 LFF SAS drive bays, in which 2.5 SFF drives can be used. With the current 10TB SAS HDDs up to 240TB are possible in a RAIDdeluxe system.

Through a 12Gb miniSAS HD x4 expansion port per controller, multiple JBOD enclosures with 12, 16 or 24 drive bays can be connected without additional licensing costs – for a total of up to 256 drives. The RAIDdeluxe C-series is energy-efficient, offers performance and can be used in various virtualization environments. All systems are designed for maximum expandability and flexibility.
