FalconStor and Fujitsu Teaming

FalconStor Software Inc., in software-defined storage solutions, and longtime alliance partner Fujitsu have teamed up to provide a bundled hardware and software SAP HANA storage solution.

The SAP-certified bundle consists of the Fujitsu Storage ETERNUS DX S3 system and FalconStor’s NSS IO multi-cluster technology. The joint solution meets the demands of SAP HANA through application-optimized shared storage components for BC.

The bundle is available from Fujitsu.

Organizations of all sizes face the challenge of managing growing data volumes, especially those that are dependent on processing large amounts of business-critical data that must be readily and reliably available at any time. The operation of the core database applications within an SAP HANA solution also places high demands on the computing and memory performance within the IT infrastructure. The bundled offering from FalconStor and Fujitsu migrates data across different storage platforms – cloud, hybrid cloud, flash storage or software defined storage resources – to increase the storage efficiency of processing data. Within SAP HANA environments, processed and stored data also benefit from the data protection features of the FalconStor solution.
