Buffalo Americas Adding TeraStation StorageCraft Recovery Center 25 NAS

Buffalo America, Inc. and StorageCraft Technology Corporation announced the availability of the TeraStation StorageCraft Recovery Center 25.

This NAS is a Windows storage server-based, backup and DR appliance designed for small businesses of approximately 25 users.

For some time, IT solution providers have used the company and StorageCraft offerings together for their storage, backup and recovery needs. The TeraStation StorageCraft Recovery Center 25 takes the collaboration to the next level by transforming a general purpose NAS into a DR appliance. It comes enabled with StorageCraft recovery tools and utilities preinstalled, preconfigured and is tested and supported by both companies.

Featuring Windows Storage Server Standard Edition, this NAS can be configured to leverage Hyper-V to host VMs spun up directly from backups with the StorageCraft VirtualBoot for Hyper-V feature.

Since the NAS5 is ready to go into service at purchase, an IT solution provider just needs to purchase the StorageCraft ShadowProtect licenses for the systems being backed up to the appliance. Once backups are placed on this TeraStation, they are ready to be utilized for simple file and folder recovery as well as being virtualized on this NAS for quick, full system recovery. Optional replication can be added to enable off-site cloud recovery to protect against site wide disasters.
