German System Builder Starline Earns Open-E Platinum Partner Status

First one worldwide

Open-E, Inc., in storage software for building and managing NAS and SAN, announced that Starline Computer GmbH, a storage and server specialist based at Kirchheim unter Teck, Germany, is its first Platinum Partner.

The long-term cooperation of both companies made Starline one of the most esteemed of Open-E’s partners in Germany. With its extensive portfolio, Starline Computer is offering software-defined storage solutions with Open-E JovianDSS as well as systems with the XFS-based Open-E storage Software V7 (DSS V7).

Starline has certified eight storage systems from their NASdeluxe series with Open-E software, and employs five Open-E certified engineers which make them a first choice for customers who want to learn more about solutions with Open-E. Apart from fast delivery times and high reach-ability, they benefit from Starline’s many years of expertise with Open-E products. This way, support is guaranteed from the planning phase to final installation and maintenance of storage environments.

Krzysztof Franek, CEO and president, Open-E, said: “We are absolutely pleased to have extensively grown our cooperation with Starline in the past years. By awarding Starline with the Platinum Partner status, we want to intensify this collaboration so that customers know they are dealing with one of the best specialists regarding high-quality storage with Open-E software.

Bernd Widmsales, director, Starline, also confirms: “We have been cooperating with Open-E for many years. Combined with our NASdeluxe systems, Open-E software offers many advantages for our customers. This is why we very much appreciate being the first Platinum Partner. And it is also why we are looking forward to presenting the Open-E JovianDSS software at our booth B53 in hall 2 at CeBIT in Hanover.
