Cohesity Launches Revolution Partner Network

Former EMC head of West US channel Joe Barnes to lead WW channel strategy

Cohesity, Inc., in hyperconverged secondary storage, announced its channel program, Revolution Partner Network, to meet the demand for itsData Platform.

With more than 25 years of experience spanning a diverse background of IT sales and sales leadership, he is well positioned to lead Cohesity’s channel strategy. Most recently, he served as the West US regional and divisional partner manager at EMC, and prior to that worked at NetApp building their Southwest sales organization.

With the announcement of the Revolution Partner Program and appointment of Joe Barnes, Cohesity is building a channel ecosystem to continue addressing common pain points that affect enterprise customer. The amount of data organizations manage continues to grow and the majority of this data is held in secondary storage environments. The Data Platform combines a web-scale storage architecture with standards-based hardware components to enable companies to transition from expensive silos for different data use cases to a simple, hyperconverged solution for data management.

By consolidating a range of functions onto a single platform, Cohesity can reduce storage costs by more than half and make enterprise data management simple. Channel partners, including P1 Technologies and CrossRealms, Inc., will work closely with Cohesity to bring the hyperconverged secondary storage platform to their clients.

With key 2.0 features, the storage platform includes site-to-site replication, cloud archive, and hardware-accelerated, 256-bit encryption.
