Continuum University Adds Certification Program

Continuum University, the online learning center at Continuum Managed Services LLC,provider of integrated managed IT services solutions, has added a certification program for Continuity247, the company’s managed backup and DR (BDR) platform, which monitors, troubleshoots and remediates problems to ensure backups continuously run for its clients. Continuum’s no-cost IT certification program is designed to help its MSP partners and their technicians to get up to speed quickly on Continuum’s products.

“The training courses at Continuum University are continuously being updated to reflect the most up-to-date training to give our MSP partners the knowledge and competitive advantage they need to be successful,” said Jen Roadman, partner education manager, Continuum. “We encourage all of our MSP partners to log on today and complete the requirements to become a Certified IT Expert.“

To earn the backup specialist certification, technicians are required to 1) watch the video modules, 2) complete the guided reviews and 3) pass the Continuum backup specialist exam with a minimum score of 80%. Continuum’s IT certification program includes four specialist certificates – Continuum Administration Specialist, Continuum RMM Specialist, Continuum Help Desk Activation Specialist and Continuum Backup Specialist. All four certifications are required to become a Continuum certified IT expert.

Every technician who completes the required certifications and becomes a Continuum certified IT expert from December 1, 2015 – January 31, 2016 are entered for a chance to win one of three tickets to Navigate 2016, taking place on Wednesday, September 28 – Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Seaport Hotel in Boston. Anyone who earns a new certification or who has earned a certification in the past and re-certifies during this time is eligible. Continuum recommends certification on a yearly basis.

Continuum U has certified over 1,000 IT technicians, all having completed the required courses and passing the certification exam showing efficiency in Continuum’s managed IT services. Continuum partners can log into Continuum U to start or to continue training.
