Clarizen Selected Kaminario All-Flash Storage
To enhance user experience for customers worldwide and meet SLA
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on December 8, 2015 at 2:45 pmKaminario Technologies, Ltd announced that Clarizen, Inc., in collaborative work management software, has selected Kaminario all-flash storage for use in the company’s four data centers – two in London and Amsterdam, and two in the US, in New Jersey and California.
Clarizen will roll out Kaminario for all customer-facing application services as part of Clarizen’s expansion in Europe and the US.
The Kaminario K2 storage system was chosen over hybrid storage solutions (combining flash and disk) and other all-flash solutions following a careful testing process among several suppliers. Kaminario’s all-flash solution reached the highest ranking based on indicators such as SLA consistency levels, data reduction and cost-benefit for every type of workload. The Kaminario all-flash arrays have replaced mechanical disk-based storage arrays in order to enhance the user experience for Clarizen customers, as well as system stability, scalability and information protection.
Raz Glazer, director of managed services, Clarizen, said: “Clarizen is experiencing great momentum ad we are committed to continuing to provide our clients with a high QoS. After careful review, we found that Kaminario provides us with the best solution, while still being cost-effective. The solution includes more advanced functionality for data protection, ease of management and reliability than any other storage solution we considered. Kaminario’s K2 advanced data reduction technology allows us to work with a central management system and store more information using less.“
Meir Uziel, VP of managed services, Clarizen, noted: “We switched to Kaminario after our analysis showed their unique architecture allows us to cope with the growth in our operations without interference. Compared to our old disk storage, there is a tremendous performance improvement by running our Oracle databases on Kaminario flash storage, so we are able to offer our customers an even better user experience.“
According to Mick Bradley, VP EMEA, Kaminario: “Clarizen prides itself on its high QoS. That means speed, flexibility, ease of use and reliability. Downtime and bottlenecks are simply not acceptable given the 24/7 nature of its business. At the same time, the company needed an infrastructure that would support its significant growth now and in the future. We are delighted to be part of that success story providing both scale-out and scale-up expansion possibilities, as well as a persuasive price-performance ratio.“
