As a seasoned product executive with extensive experience leading large product teams in public companies as well as scaling product operations in fast growing start-ups, he will lead Tintri’s engineering team to create VM-aware storage products that save the time, money and sanity of virtualized enterprises and cloud service providers.

Tony Chang joins Tintri after spending almost eight years with NetApp in an engineering leadership role. Most recently, he led the ONTAP group managing over 1600 people worldwide. Prior to that, he served as VP of engineering at LogLogic (acquired by Tibco), which pioneered log management and intelligence-driven big data solutions, compliance reporting and IT security operations. He also held the position of SVP of product development at Foundstone, which was acquired by McAfee.

He holds a Master’s degree in computer science from Stevens Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science degree in material science from the National Tsing Hua University.
