Built from the ground up and in-house by the company, the ExaSAN A12S3-PS is specifically designed to be the way to enjoy high-speed data access for single video editing workstations assuring full-time availability, flexible scalability, all within a convenient smal framework without the complexity or cst of conventional FC.

A12S3-PS, as the newest member of the ExaSAN family, offers high performance, availability and scalability. It features PCIe 3.0 technology capable of reaching read speeds of up to 2,500MB/s with only twelve drives and can perform on multiple HD, 2K and 4K DPX video formats, even dual stream stereoscopic 3D editing workflows. A12S3-PS is a tower 12Bay disk array system designed for all color grading, stereoscopic 3D, multi-layer clip editing, and visual effects, as well as supporting RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, and 0+1, high speed 6Gb SAS drives, and high capacity SATA III drives. The single port RAID controller of A12S3-PS combined with 12 drives can provide 32GB bandwidth with its unique Performance Optimization feature.
A12S3-PS is a powerful video editing storage system foundation ready for the most time sensitive broadcast and post production single and multiple workstation infrastructures with improved cost-savings as well as collaborative and timely workflows, with 3 units of JBOD A12S3-SJ, to expand scalability up to 384TB (with 8TB HDD fully loaded) and connect to ExaSan PCIe switch to build up a shared SAN storage system solution for up to 12 workstations to match evolving workflows.
ExaSAN A12S3-PS and A12S3-SJ storage system is truly ready, willing, and able to handle the most demanding multiple resolution data streams and large data file workflows in all professional video editing broadcast and post-production environments.
Accusys will start shipments from November, 2015, provided with single power and redundant power options (A12S3-PS plus and A12S3-SJ plus) for RAID and JBOD system.
