Geminare Launches Global Availability of DRaaS

Geminare, Inc. furthered its commitment to the OpenStack initiative and global HP Helion Service Provider ecosystem by announcing its DRaaS for HP Helion OpenStack solution.

This Helion Ready certified service is accessible to HP‘s Helion service providers (SPs) through the Helion Ready Solution Catalog.

Cloud Recovery’s Helion Ready certification means that HP’s global ecosystem of Helion SPs have immediate access to company’s multi-patented DR as a Service Cloud Management Platform (DRaaS CMP) – the foundation of the cloud recovery offering and one of the industry’s platforms for the delivery of DRaaS solutions.

Through this certification, company’s DRaaS CMP, embedded with a set of technologies, delivers a host-based server replication solution that runs on private, public, hybrid, and OpenStack environments.

Initial HP and Geminare deployment models include:

Service providers can host company’s cloud recovery solution and bundle it with professional services to create their differentiated DRaaS offer.
HP customers can leverage Helion OpenStack deployments at their Service Provider of choice or span their protection footprint by replicating servers from one Helion OpenStack cloud environment to another geographically, independently of the Service Provider.
Company’s DRaaS integrations with public clouds such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and others offer customers the ultimate hybrid deployment model when looking to the cloud to modernize their DR programs and access low cost storage.
