Thecus Revealing N5810 to 5-Bay NAS Line

The N5810 features a Celeron processor J1900 Quad Core 2.0 GHz SoC and 4GB of DDR3 RAM that can be expanded to 8GB for further performance.

The N5810 is an advanced yet affordable network storage solution, providing up to 213Mb/s read and 186Mb/s write speeds with two Gigabit LAN ports. It supports seven modes of link aggregation and System Failover creating data, network, and system redundancy, minimizing disruptions in workflow and increasing operational efficiency.
Addressing the growing demands for efficient storage in business environments, the N5810 comes with essential business applications including support for VMware, Citrix, and Hyper-V; cross-platform support for MAC, Windows, and Linux/Unix users; Windows AP and LDAP for user authorization; bundled Acronis and Intel Security; and a complete backup solution including Snapshot using Btrfs for point-in-time backups, real-time remote replication and cloud backup to ElephantDrive, Dropbox, Amazon S3.
The N5810 runs on theeasy-to-use Thecus OS5 OS. The re-tooled software includes VPN Server for secure remote access and Disk Clone and Wipe for convenient data management. Users will be able to enjoy a set of entertainment features facilitated by HDMI output and Kodi for multimedia playback and mobile access with the Thecus mobile app, T-OnTheGo.
Units will begin shipping globally at the end of November, 2015.
