Primera Disc Publishers Burn Blu-ray Discs at Triple Speed

Primera Technology, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of color label printers and optical disc publishing equipment, announced Version 2.2.1 of its PTPublisher disc burning software.

This new version has a number of updates included. Most significant is the improved burn time for Blu-ray Disc (BD-R) media. In previous versions, burning a full 25GB BD-R took about 33 minutes. With Version 2.2.1, burning a full 25GB BD-R disc takes about 11 minutes – about three times as fast.

Version 2.2.1 will be included with all Primera BD-R Disc Publishers. Existing owners of Primera’s BD-R disc publishers can download the software at no additional cost.
