Advanced Digital Network Distribution To Distribute Panzura

Delivering cloud-based file system in Central Europe

Panzura, Inc. and Advanced Digital Network Distribution GmbH (ADN), a Central Europe’s VAD, announced a partnership to allow ADN to distribute Panzura’s products in the Central European market.

Panzura and ADN’s alliance will enable IT infrastructure consolidation by eliminating the need for local storage and reducing and even eliminating the need for WAN optimization and MPLS networking. ADN specializes in server technologies and thin clients, virtualization, HA, storage, hosting, unified communications and security for enterprise customers.

With the increasing needs of global organizations, there has never been a greater demand for technology to provide cloud integration and NAS-like functionality in a transparent, simple-to-use architecture that scales across locations, capacity and users. As the world transitions to the cloud, cloud infrastructure should not appear as independent from on-premises facilities. The cloud has to operate like it is in the datacenter, with applications running in the same manner in either location. Panzura’s technology enables teams to collaborate and feel as though they are working in the same room no matter where offices are located.

We are delighted to have found Panzura, who leads the storage market in a new direction with its innovative technology. Companies now have the opportunity to capitalize on the performance of the cloud and minimize latency with Panzura’s solutions,” stated Hermann Ramacher, CEO, ADN. “The unique channel distribution concept enables cloud-oriented system houses to operate based on an attractive business model of product and service sales.

Panzura’s Global Locking File System enables customers to collapse storage and networking into the cloud with FIPS 140-2 certified security. By using the cloud for all file storage and caching active data on cloud controllers, Panzura eliminates the need for local storage as well as reduces or eliminates the need for WAN optimization and MPLS networking – freeing users from costly, antiquated systems that don’t solve latency issues or facilitate collaboration.

For users needing cloud VDI or to use cloud compute for other applications, Panzura’s new SkyBridge solution co-locates a locking file system in the cloud that is identical to the file system in the corporate datacenter(s) and eliminates networking challenges in between. Panzura SkyBridge simplifies cloud adoption further by solving networking, security, automation and file system challenges in developing hybrid infrastructures.

Customers want to take advantage of the economics of cloud storage and cloud compute, but need local data speed and the cloud to feel like it is a part of their datacenter. Panzura’s unique technology and offerings enable customers to truly take advantage of the benefits and scale of the cloud, without the cloud appearing like an entirely different infrastructure,” said Flavio Santoni, chief revenue officer, Panzura. “Panzura now has the ability to extend these offerings through the trusted leader in Central Europe, known for working with high-quality and innovative technology solutions like ours.
