Tintri Certified For Microsoft Private Cloud Fast Track

Tintri Inc. announced its certification in the Microsoft Private Cloud Fast Track program.

The program is a reference architecture that acknowledges Tintri has met Microsoft’s specifications for building private clouds based on Windows and Hyper-V-helping virtualised enterprises scale with preconfigured, validated platforms.

In addition to embracing and extending the value provided by Microsoft private cloud, Tintri also received certification for Windows Server 2012 R2, and the only Gold-level data centre competency among next generation storage companies, recognising capability within the Microsoft Partner Network. These accomplishments expand upon Tintri’s native support of Microsoft’s SMB 3.0 protocol and integration with Hyper-V Manager and System Centre VM Manager (SCVMM). To earn these distinctions, Tintri had to pass technology assessments and submit customer references from Tintri’s growing base of customers using Microsoft for virtualisation.

“Running Hyper-V on Tintri has been an excellent experience,” said Luke Schwingler, system administration manager, MetaBank. “We performed a very long test run of Tintri to make sure we could easily create our file shares and VMs on the new platform. The Tintri system is performing extremely well in our virtual environment. And even though the Tintri platform is really great now, new features just keep coming.“

These accomplishments arrive on the heels of Tintri’s products, including the Tintri VMstore T5000 All-flash series, Tintri VMstack Converged Infrastructure, Tintri OS 4.0 and Tintri Global Center 2.1. The new products will enable customers to optimise Microsoft virtualised workloads and applications, such as SQL Server, Exchange and SharePoint, across T5000 All-flash and T800 Hybrid-flash systems.
