Three New Executives at Infinidat

Simon joins INFINIDAT as CFO, Cancilla joins the company as VP of business development, and Kenniston joins as VP of product marketing.
CFO Nir Simon brings over 15 years of experience in finance and operations management with both start-ups and global multi-billion dollar organizations. He has a track record of streamlining business operations to drive growth and increase efficiency, productivity and profit. Prior to joining INFINIDAT, he served as the CFO of IBM Israel, where he directed a team of 100 managers and employees and demonstrated his skills and leadership in management, finance, mergers and acquisitions. He was previously the CFO at XIV, where he prepared and led the company during due diligence to an acquisition by IBM. He brings a broad and diverse educational background to his role, with advanced degrees in accounting, law and computer engineering.
VP of business development Robert Cancilla possesses over 25 years of industry expertise and accomplishments in storage technology and enterprise systems. He has demonstrated P&L results and operational excellence in organizations ranging from emerging companies with early-to-market products to established companies with large business lines. He has built expertise in several organizational disciplines such as business line ownership, sales, product marketing, customer support/engineering, product development, global supply chain, and quality. Prior to joining INFINIDAT, he was co-founder and CEO of Robin Systems, where he led a start-up team of industry professionals developing virtualization and management software for big data infrastructure. Previously, he was a VP in IBM‘s storage systems brand, leading the enterprise disk and flash optimized solutions businesses.
VP of product marketing Steve Kenniston is a long-time leader in the storage technology industry with the consistent ability to define storage technology vision and effective go-to-market strategies that have led to revenue growth and key acquisitions for employers during his career. He has served as an executive in the role of storage technology evangelist in his last three positions. He was previously storage technology evangelist with Catalogic Software, a software-only provider of copy data management, business line executive at IBM for data protection and VP of technology at Storwize, provider of real-time compression technology. His prior roles have also included serving as technology consultant to the CTO of EMC, VP of corporate development for Avamar Technologies, senior corporate strategist for Iron Mountain/Connected Corporation, storage technology analyst for Enterprise Storage Group, and director of technical support for Veritas Software.
