Partner Program of NetJapan Includes Certification for Resellers and MSPs

NetJapan, Inc. partner programme includes certification for resellers and MSPs.

After a roadshow tour in the UK, Germany and Switzerland, the planned line-up of certification courses present further opportunities for the company to connect with the channel and increase awareness of its quality line of backup, DR and instant availability solutions.

Certification will be offered in small groups of no more than 10 resellers per session. Each person will be required to bring their own laptop in order to connect to NetJapan’s Swiss datacentre and access the training environment.

“Beyond pure technical training, in these events we want to be able to drill down on specific real-life case scenarios as requested by the participants, as well as share best practices” explains Richard Zinner, technical director, NetJapan Europe Ltd.

Certification consists of various modules tailored to each partner’s own technological focus:

• Level 1 certification focuses on onsite backup and DR, including bare-metal restore, offsite backup archiving, fast failover and backup file testing. Attendees will be able to practice how to use, setup and offer support for NetJapan’s core product ActiveImage Protector and its ImageBoot and ImageCenter LE add-on solutions.
• Level 2 certification includes modules on virtual platforms Hyper-V and/or VMware. Both modules include training on NetJapan’s host-based software ActiveImage Protector for Hyper-V and/or vmGuardian, as well as off-site instant availability. This level of certification emphasises on solutions for reducing downtime and increasing client productivity, which is of particular interest for MSP with in-house recovery servers or rented hosted services in a data centre and for data centres themselves aiming to lower service costs.
  

NetJapan’s certification courses are recommended for resellers, VARs, MSPs, IT service providers, data centres and IT consultants. Interested UK partners can sign up for Level 1 certification starting in November 2015.
