Actifio Enables Enterprises to Tap AWS for Data Protection and DevOps

Actifio, Inc. announced its continued momentum and focus on enabling the transition to the enterprise cloud with its Virtual Data Pipeline technology.

The company helps businesses speed up their data protection and application development processes, while transitioning them to the cloud.

At Amazon Web Services (AWS) re:Invent 2015, the company showcased its capabilities to deliver AWS-based backup, DR and test data management solutions for enterprises and managed services providers.

Live company’s demonstrations in the AWS re:Invent Central showed enterprise IT organizations how they can modernize their backup and DR processes by vaulting their data securely to AWS, or by protecting AWS-resident workloads with Coy Data Virtualization. In addition, the company showed how developers and test teams can access virtual copies of multi-terabyte databases in less than five minutes with company’s Sky for AWS.

Participation at AWS re:Invent builds on the July announcement of company’s Sky for AWS availability as a listing in the AWS Marketplace making it easier for enterprise customers to leverage the cloud for critical functions such as backup, recovery and application test and development.
