The RAIDdeluxe C-Series is based on a 12Gb SAS backplane and uses the reliable RAID controllers from Areca Technology Corporation. With continuous 12Gb/s architecture, these RAID systems offer host performance and increased system efficiency with fast 12Gb SAS SSDs and HDDs.

The systems are available with 12, 16 and 24 drive bays and offer a host connection of up to 4×16 Gb FC or 2x12Gb SAS x4 per controller. The RAIDdeluxe systems can use fast 12Gb SAS SSDs and up to 8TB nearline SAS, making them suitable for fast database applications as well as for providing large storage capacity.
Through a 12Gb miniSAS HD x4 expansion port per controller, multiple JBOD enclosures with 12, 16 or 24 drive bays can be connected without additional licensing costs – for a total of up to 256 drives. This RAIDdeluxe C-series is energy-efficient, offers high performance and can be used in various virtualization environments. All systems are designed for maximum expandability and flexibility.
