Vaultize Integrates Enterprise File Sharing and Rights Management With Data Loss Prevention Solutions

Vaultize Technologies Pvt. Ltd. announced integration with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions and becoming the first enterprise file sync and share (EFSS) solution provider to proactively detect sensitive files to protect them through enterprise digital rights management (eDRM aka enterprise information rights management) before they get shared by employees from their company-managed as well as BYOD (Bring-Your-Own-Device) devices.

Integration of enterprise digital rights management with enterprise file sharing, mobile collaboration, mobile content management (MCM) under a single platform strengthens the position of the company as a provider in enterprise file security – giving enterprise IT end-to-end security, control and visibility, while providing Dropbox-like user experience to end-users.

When deployed together with DLP solution, the company’s solution can get files scanned by DLP engines using Internet Content Adaption Protocol (ICAP) protocol before they can be shared by employees using file sync & share, or through email attachments using Outlook, or through Vaultize mobile apps.

Vaultize mobile apps have built-in Mobile Content Management (MCM) that allows corporate IT to prevent data loss, security and compliance breaches by controlling what end-users can do with corporate data through a built-in document editor for MS Office editing and PDF annotation. Company’s rights management integrates with mobile content management such that files shared through company’s mobile apps stay DRM-protected even after they are downloaded by the recipient on a device not under control of the company IT.

Company’s DRM uses US patent-pending Micro-containerization technology, which is agnostic to file-formats and provides end-to-end file security. In this information centric approach to enterprise digital rights management, Vaultize embeds access rights in the document itself such that it is only usable by the authorized recipients in compliance with DRM-protection policies.
