As the visionary and creator of the Open Source Storage movement, Eren Niazi, founder and CEO, Open Source Storage, will leave product and solution source code open and unlocked to drive change and encourage the evolution of technologies.
OpenStack’s collection of interrelated projects have the ability to work together and control many aspects of the data center such as storage, networking, and compute.
Patrick Willis, former NFL Superstar, has been appointed as a board member less than a year after joining the company as a result of his work as EVP, strategic partnerships for the media, entertainment, and sports sectors.
Niazi said: “Joining the OpenStack represent a key area of expansion for the company. This is part of a strategic plan created to drive open source storage growth.”
