As VP, he will oversee the Americas sales team for the company, with a focus on significant hiring, and enhance the new and existing customer base of large enterprises and service providers in the United States and across the Americas.
He joins a team of sales leaders in Europe, AsiaPac and Japan; Emilio Roman, David Harvey and Ebi Hiromasa respectively.
Berezin brings more than 15 years of sales leadership experience, including management and executive roles at CommVault, NetApp and Trace3. he received his bachelor’s degree from American University, and J.D. degree from Widener University School of Law.
As part of his first initiative, he will hire sales representatives in Seattle, Dallas, New York, Boston, and Washington, DC, and lead hiring efforts within markets including the Fortune 500 enterprise, the government, telecommunications and web and cloud service providers, as well as media and entertainment.

Scality’s growth is underscored by a recent $45 million round of funding, global resale agreements with Dell and HP, a new Boston R&D Center – the company’s first on the East Coast, and recognition from IDC as a leader in object-based storage. As a result of these milestones, Scality has expanded from 78 to 165 employees over the past year, more than doubling its workforce.
