ProMAX Challenges Avid ISIS 1000 With Platform Online 1000

ProMAX Systems, Inc. announced Platform 1000 workflow server, a shared storage system with built in native Avid Technology, Inc.‘s Project Sharing (Bin Locking), transcoding, rendering and asset management.

The Platform Online 1000 brings the speed, reliability and expandability of enterprise storage, enabling video professionals to accelerate and improve their creative process at an affordable price.

As an entry point into company’s server class product line, Platform Online 1000 workflow server is the superior alternative to Avid ISIS 1000. Now with the recent 4.6 software update including Avid Project Sharing (Bin Locking), it beats ISIS 1000 in every category, including streaming speeds, storage capacity, scalability, connectivity and price.

Platform Online 1000 has single node capacity up to 96TB and the ability to expand the system to multiple Petabytes with additional nodes. The 1000 boasts two 5.25″ drive bays that can be optionally filled with LTO drives, drive swaps, card readers or a 4TB SSD RAID for additional high speed scratch drive.
