In this role, he is responsible for the operations of all Acronis data centers worldwide, supporting the company’s growing cloud data protection business, which includes backup, DR, archiving, and file sync and share solutions. He will focus on Acronis data center processes, monitoring, alerting, reporting, auditing, and overall operations to develop a best-of-breed data protection service.
Acronis has a global network of 14 data centers in operation with dozens of petabytes of data under protection in the cloud. It opened five new data centers in 2015 – London, Moscow, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo – with the total amount of data under protection in the cloud growing at more than 100% per year. Warner will focus on managing and expanding the current network of Acronis data centers with the technology and service levels needed to ensure the roll out and management of new cloud data protection solutions – whether hosted by Acronis and sold by resellers and distributors, or hosted and sold by service providers and branded as their own cloud solutions.
Warner brings to Acronis expertise in data center management and operations, including cloud data security. He has more than 40 years of IT experience, including 20 years in the U.S. Army and eight years holding CSO and CIO positions at GoDaddy.com, in web hosting services for small businesses. Her currently holds three US patents and has two patents pending in the areas of e-commerce transactions and network traffic and security.
Warner’s team was recognized as the NetApp’s 2011 Most Innovative Storage Team for the Americas, and one of CIO Magazine’s Top 100 innovative IT organizations.
