Patents further company’s market leadership in several key areas:

  • Intelligent replication: Ideally, storage software can determine instantaneously to which storage nodes a file should be written. Compuverde has patented its innovative process for prioritizing replication jobs based on severity, making sure that the write process is fast, safe and efficient.

  • Maximizing storage energy efficiency: Other patents were awarded for aggregating and optimizing smaller write requests by using server characteristics to identify which to use as targets.

  • Global recognition: Compuverde’s patent family is in all major global regions, including the U.S., the European Patent Office (EPO), China, Japan and Eurasia.

  • Enabling the future of storage: Company’s software-defined storage solutions are based on the principles of performance, redundancy and TCO, providing a scalable, horizontally aligned storage platform that enables the flexibility critical to the future of storage.

Stefan Bernbo, CEO and founder, Compuverde, said: “As enterprises struggle with the unprecedented volumes of data now being produced, they are finding that new storage architectures are necessary. We continue to patent our innovations in the software-defined storage arena as we help enterprises gain access to flexible, high-performance and low-cost storage that can scale quickly, easily and at high volume.
