Toshiba Will Open SSD Facility in Folsom, CA
With goal to reach 60 employees

This location will be dedicated to SSD research, design and technology customization.
The center will focus on U.S.-based customers running existing and future SSD technologies.
“The approximately 17,000 square foot site will be a R&D engineering-based laboratory and office, with a 50% lab and 50% office setup,” said Rob Reed, VP of SSD strategic solutions, TAEC. “Toshiba recognizes the excellent talent in the Sacramento and Folsom communities and is looking forward to initially hiring 30 people to staff the new site with the end goal to reach 60 employees.”
