Seven10 Joins HP Helion Ready Program

For its Storfirst migration and management software

Seven10 Storage Software, developer of data migration and cloud-based Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) software, announced that its Storfirst software products are tested, certified, and supported for HP Helion OpenStack as part of the HP Helion Ready Program for solution partners.

The program offers a catalog of ISV and SaaS solutions certified to run on HP Helion OpenStack and/or Helion Development Platform across industry workloads suitable for use in a variety of environments, including public, private, virtual private, managed, and hybrid clouds. HP publishes the list of all HP Helion Ready applications via a catalog on their website. As part of the certification, Seven 10 has earned the ‘HP Helion Ready’ badge, which signifies that Storfirst software can be deployed by customers with HP Helion OpenStack and Helion Content Depot.

Storfirst software transitions unstructured data from the widest range of legacy storage environments, including EMC Centera, NetApp StorageGrid, HP MAS, IBM GMAS, Oracle SAMFS – as well as any existing NAS platform, cloud gateway or file system. They solution offeris automated data migration plus a standard SMB/CIFS or NFS file system layer for access into any storage platform, including HP Helion OpenStack and Helion Content Depot. This later is an integrated object storage solution based on Helion OpenStack and industry HP ProLiant servers.
