Organizations Deploying Infinio Accelerator Are Reducing Latency

Server-side caching reduces storage latency up to 98.5%

Infinio Systems, Inc. announced that organizations deploying its Accelerator are reducing latency and eliminating IT complexity for desktop virtualization and server-side caching services.

With Infinio, organizations, including IT services provider Masergy Communications, Inc. and medical records coding company Health Information Associates, Inc., have improved user experience, enabling them to focus on expanding their businesses and embarking on new initiatives.

In many cases, the cost and efficiency benefits of server virtualization can be eroded by reduced performance in other aspects of the data center. When storage-performance issues emerge, for example, internal teams can suffer productivity delays and miss valuable business opportunities while they address I/O bottlenecks or recover from user-experience problems. Using server-side caching technology, Infinio helps these organizations do more with the same amount of storage hardware, avoid process disruption and offload storage up to 90%. Users can reduce storage latency up to 98.5%, increase I/O capacity and deploy responsive, high-quality VDI solutions.

End-user satisfaction is a top priority for our team and our customers,” said Arun Agarwal, Infinio co-founder and CEO. “Performance and latency issues can stall the user experience and prevent IT teams from delivering the high-caliber service their end users expect. Infinio streamlines performance, meaning the only footprint it leaves in your data center is a positive one.

Beyond performance benefits, Infinio uses its analytics engine to provide statistics and insights about specific workloads and data, adding transparency and visibility to storage processes. The Accelerator empowers virtualization administrators to see Infinio’s storage acceleration impact within 30mn of starting the installation without configuration changes, downtime or disruption to the data center.

The productivity, efficiency and satisfaction of our coding support specialists hinge on running Web-based data-entry applications without interruption. As the demands of our business grew, we needed a cost-effective strategy to improve performance,” said Daniel Day, director of information systems, Health Information Associates, a healthcare service provider that specializes in customized coding review and support services for hospitals. “Infinio raises our bottom line and makes a real difference. The more we can do for our end users, the happier they are and the better they can serve our clients.

To better support global users and improve overall performance, our managed network services team needed to accelerate VDI. However, many options on the market demanded an increased budget and introduced production delays due to required network architecture changes,” said Francisco Pérez, senior systems administrator at IT services provider Masergy Communications. “We saw benefits the minute we installed Infinio. Our latency dropped nearly 10 times, making a noticeable difference for end users. We’ve received zero end-user complaints to date.
