DataLocker Acquires BlockMaster

DataLocker, Inc., an encryption solutions provider, has acquired BlockMaster AB, an USB security solutions provider headquartered in Sweden.

The addition of BlockMaster represents a step forward in DataLocker’s strategic initiative to expand its DataLocker Encryption Management Platform (EMP), which enables clients to track the location and use of sensitive data and IPy around the globe.

BlockMaster is known for its USB security solutions, including the centralized USB management software, SafeConsole, which offers organizations the ability to remotely manage Kingston, DataLocker, Cardwave, CMS and CTWO brand encrypted USB drives by resetting passwords, configuring password policy and activating audit for compliance procedures.

BlockMaster Board chairman and chief security officer Anders Kjellander will remain with the firm to assist in the transition and lead DataLocker’s secure flash product division.

Headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, DataLocker is a growing international data security company with offices in the US, UK and South Korea.

The company specializes in encryption solutions which secure computer systems, media, external storage and cloud storage services for governments, military and enterprises around the world.
