WinZip 19.5 Software Updated Including File Sharing

WinZip introduces WinZip 19.5, the latest version of its file-sharing app that offers a sharing experience, a more visual and intelligent interface, and the added power of WinZip Express at no extra charge.

WinZip 19.5 is available as a free update to registered WinZip 19 customers and can be purchased directly at company’s web site.

“With this latest release, we’re continuing to evolve WinZip as your single solution for file management, privacy protection and easy sharing. WinZip 19.5 helps make users more productive across some of the most common tasks they do every day, whether it’s locating and saving files, adding powerful encryption to keep information safe in the cloud, or sending large files with just a few clicks,” said Bill Richard, VP development, WinZip.

It’s easier to send files, right from within WinZip:

SmartShare: Select a file from your computer, cloud service or a zip, then choose a destination-social media, instant messaging (IM) or email. WinZip lets you share your files zipped or unzipped through your favorite services.
Share via clipboard: In addition to the social media and IM applications supported directly within WinZip, users can share large files with virtually any app. WinZip automatically uploads your files to the cloud, creates cloud Links and places them on the clipboard for quick pasting into Facebook IM, Skype messages, documents and other applications.

Boost productivity with visual UI:

View thumbnails: Use the new Icon view to see the contents of zip files as thumbnails for easy browsing.
Auto-hide scroll bars: Maximizing your display space on devices, scroll bars now disappear when not needed.
Slide-in action pane: Access sharing and conversion options when you need them.
Move files: Free up space by moving a file into a zip without leaving a copy on your system.

WinZip 19.5 Enterprise offers enhanced support for virtual drive formats including VMWare files and VHD files saved with NTFS compressed files.
