Cloud|AG and AvePoint Team Up

Cloud|AG and AvePoint, Inc. are teaming up to provide Office 365 customers a set of backup and administrative services.

Leveraging AvePoint Online Services, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) management platform for Microsoft Office 365, Cloud|AG will provide organizations worldwide with granular backup and restore capability for Office 365 Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive.

“Many Office 365 customers mistakenly believe Microsoft is solely responsible for backing up their Office 365 data. While Microsoft does provide data center redundancy in the event of a catastrophic failure, the truth is Office 365 customers are responsible for providing their own granular backup and restore capability,” said Michael Ganote, VP sales, Cloud|AG. “We combine the benefits of moving to the cloud with the peace-of-mind that you’re still able to quickly respond to an individual user or data situation.“

Clients have the option to store backups in the cloud or on-premises. AvePoint Online Services is online so there is nothing to install locally and the solution can be licensed on a subscription basis or as a managed service.
