Attys Seek $11.3 Million In Fees For Optical Disk Drive MDL Deals
Attorneys representing direct purchasers in sprawling multidistrict litigation alleging a conspiracy to fix prices on optical disk drives asked a California federal judge Tuesday to approve their attorneys’ fees, equal to about a third of the nearly $38 million in settlements they have secured thus far. Guido Saveri of Saveri & Saveri Inc., chairman of the executive committee of direct purchaser plaintiffs, asked the court for an $11.3 million interim fee award and about $1.68 million in expense reimbursements.
