ActiveImage Protector 3.5 SP6 Introduced by NetJapan

NetJapan, Inc. releases ActiveImage Protector 3.5 SP6 with replication support for Nifty cloud and Cloudian cloud storage services, performance improvements, and the ImageExplorer for browsing files and folders within backup images.

Features:

• Off-site replication support for Nifty cloud and Cloudian cloud storage service providers.

• Performance improvements to FTP replication (up to three times faster than previous releases according to benchmarks).

• ImageExplorer extension for browsing file system contents of an image file for the purpose of selectively copying or viewing files and folders. ImageExplorer is useful when a full mount operation is inconvenient or unnecessary. Implemented as an extension to the Windows Explorer file browser, ImageExplorer consumes less system resources than an image mount.

• Events are recorded in the Windows event log to provide better integration into the Windows Management Interface for a more unified experience.

ActiveImage Protector is a backup, recovery, and virtualization software solution with the high data compression ratios and performing backup and recovery speeds and includes smart sector-based imaging, inline data deduplication, and high-grade encryption technologies.

ActiveImage Protector 3.5 SP6 will be made available in six editions: Virtual Edition and Hyper-V Edition for virtual environments, Server Edition and Desktop Edition for physical environments and IT Pro Edition for system administrators. ActiveImage Protector software and support are available in Japanese and English.
